High View has been undergoing a sensitive historic restoration since we bought the place in 1982. At 6,600 square feet, with 22 embassy-sized rooms including 4 1/2 baths, it feels like we’ve resurfaced acres of walls, floors and ceilings. Still work to do, of course. But where we’ve finished, hand crafted Victorian-style details blend with modern updates for the best of both worlds.


A recent capstone event (literally) was the renovation of the roofs. From the top down, standing seam tin and cedar diamond shake came back to life, after decades of being covered over with composition stone and asphalt shingles.
